I don't know how I got from April to December quite so fast, but looking back, it was a good year for wine. Here are my favorites of 2010.
Shafer managed to get the two top slots:
Shafer 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select
Shafer 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select
Two wines from the same vintage but different continents that nevertheless reminded me of each other:
Saxum 2007 James Berry Vineyard
Mas de Boislauzon 2007 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee du Quet
And a random assortment of good juice:
L'Aventure 2007 Estate Cuvee
Larkmead 2006 LMV Salon
Domain Olivier Hillaire 2007 Chateauneuf-du-Pape
O'Shaughnessy 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain
Chateau Pavie Decesse 1999
Lastly, an honorable mention for Charles Hiedsieck Brut Reserve Champagne. A new find for me this year, I think this is a great value in non-vintage Champagne and tasty to boot.
